Sneaky Snippet from Inside Festive Rhymes

Mum and Dad’s Twelve Hours Before Christmas

Twelve hours’ tick,

Eleven hours’ tock,

Ten mince pies are eaten,

Before nine o’clock.

Eight hours gone,

Seven hours’ done,

Six carolers singing,

But only five are having fun.

Four hours later,

And the three kids are asleep,

Now the two of us can relax,

Until the other one’s asleep.
